I just got home during halftime and have been watching the 3rdQ. Very entertaining and fun game to watch. Rice is pounding the ball on the ground and mixing in passes to keep Tulsa off guard.
35-10 Rice right now.
 
JMU Marshall is better plus Roddy
 
Rice's offense is bringing back memories of Friedgen and Joe Hamilton and Goose Godsey days!

They just ran a wicked misdirection pitch on 4th and short that went for 40yds!

They are moving to FBS and tried to get a waiver for a bowl game this year

They are already FBS. Were last year too. Got into the top 25 last season before losing to Marshall I believe then dropped another shortly after. Still finished first in Sun Belt East but couldn’t play in championship. Have been an FCS powerhouse prior.

I wanted us to hire their coach. Wouldn’t be surprised if he wound up going to UVA.

Yes but aren’t bowl eligible until next year …filed a waiver with NCAA and were denied….they are solid

I am aware. I’m a moderate fan of the program on account of my wife and her fam.
