Richt Fears Option

Hate to compliment a dawg, but you have to appreciate his respect for Johnson, and his humility in saying that they would need two weeks to prepare, especially after they've beaten us the last seven years.

He'll finally be facing a coach who is intellectually equal, whereas the last six years he's faced someone who causes him to giggle like a schoolgirl with delight.

We don't know what he's going to do, He's a winner. He's a guy who is going to look at his personnel and do what he thinks they can do best.

Everywhere he's gone he's won, at Georgia Southern he carried on a tremendous tradition. He really won at a high level there at Navy and won the games that he needed to win that were most important to the program. He's really good at what he does.
Looks like PJ and Richt will get along, it would have been fun if they thrashtalked some at each other!

That quote sounds a little more like coach talk than anything else.

This is my favorite:

"Everywhere he's gone he's won," Richt said. "At Georgia Southern he carried on a tremendous tradition. He really won at a high level there at Navy and won the games that he needed to win that were most important to the program. He's really good at what he does.""

Sounds like he was just showing respect and classy. What's he going to say? "I can't wait to demolish that HS offense!"

Quote:
"I'm glad that we play them the last game of the year and I'm glad we have an open date before them next year," Richt said.

Does anybody know when our open date is?....It will be interesting to see how we play after an open date under PJ's watch. I have a feeling we won't be as flat or as un-prepared as we have been the last six yrs.

If we don't call a Time Out on the first play of the game I will call it progress! That still amazes me.

For me, it's better than a turnover on first play which we have seen too.

Fear or not, he is going to cry when we take his perfect season away next year.
