There's a new fan experience called FIRST SATURDAY ON THE FLATS.

Aug 7th NO AUTOGRAPHS

Replacement for Fan Day? Seems so. Has NIL now killed little kids' opportunity for getting autographs?

If so, time to rename the NCAA to NCPAA. Wonder where this will all end??

i figured it was a covid protocol thing on no autographs but you could be right on NIL. i had not thought of that.

This would have been a great opportunity to slip them a Benjamin for their autograph.
Two things can be true at the same time. But I hadn’t thought of this.

If autographs are out, shouldn’t photos be too?
Maybe it’ll become just come and wave at the team day

Why not have players sign posters inside somewhere at their leisure and then hand out posters one/attendee. I would even buy a poster signed by the team for a reasonable price and have it mailed to me if GTAA sold them.

Definitely would, too. Where do I sign up?

I would be more likely to buy if Waffle House was selling them and compensating our SAs for their time.

I have a question and did not want to start a new thread.

MEMBERSHIP. When did buying season tickets to Tech Football make you a "member" of anything vs just a ticketholder/customer?

[DISCLOSURE: I'm older than dirt and have much time to be concerned about such things]

Thank you

I think it was the year after we hired Radakovich as the Athletic Director; so it was some time ago.

It’s an odd bit of marketing-ese that we cribbed from professional teams to make it seem like buying season tickets is like joining an exclusive club.

I think NIL has a big part in this. Speaking to a friend who just got Spencer Rattler to sign a bunch of stuff for cards, he was charging $150 per autograph. I know we don’t have anyone at that level, but the game has totally changed.
