We made a last-minute offer to a WR committed to Central Michigan

I can at least understand a kid going to Miami more than I can a kid choosing to go to LSU.

Is this serious? This is a miserable place to be if you want to major in football.

Fun place to go to college and their graduates make decent money.

If a kid is an NFL talent, he'll get drafted whether he's at Alabama or Miami or George Mason. The difference is a good player at Alabama vs. a demigod at George Mason.

The big difference between Alabama, Miami, or George Mason is what happens if the player gets injured or his talents don't translate to the next level.

No matter how great someone thinks he is, he's a neck or knee injury away from having to support his family off his degree.

F@@@. F@@@. F@@@. F@@@. F@@@. F@@@. F@@@.

F@@@.

Maybe Johnson should do like Cruz and spread false rumors about other coaches retiring. Maybe then we could be competitive for 3 stars.

2 things: I think you underestimate the dollar value that exposure in big time programs can get you, and second George Mason only has club football.
