Roster Drops?

In reviewing the roster over on Ramblinwreck.com, I noticed 4 players no longer on there.
#70-Randall Cox-OL; RS FR out of st. Augustine
#22-David Jordan-Placekicker; RS SR out of Columbus GA.
#51-Jon Morrison-DE; RS SO out of Marietta
#79-Eddy Parker-C; RS JR out of Burnet TX
Are these guys officially off the team or is this just an oversight?
 
1. Cox - grades would probably never be in the mix to see the field.

2. Morrison - same

3. Jordan - He decided to not take his 5th year of eligibility. He's rumored to be working for his father.

4. Parker - His career ended at the end of last season with a knee injury. He worked in the spring as an assistant to Coach d.
 
plus Justin Guadagni transferred to a small school up north. He always struggled returned from his knee injury.

There is a very long answer to this, but right now we have 73 on scholly (not including the kids we give scholarships for one year when we have some leftover...and yes all are technically one year each) and 10 graduating seniors on scholarship. That would mean 16 spots.

However, based on future attrition and some possible rule interpretations, we will likely end up between 17 and 20.
 
Good luck to all these Tech men. Hopefully Cox and Morrison can hang in there and get a great degree even if they can't stay 'eligible'. God and Tech men only know how hard those professors are.
 
A-Panther:
Do athletes who are physically unable to perform, like Parker, lose their athletic scholarships? If so, are they provided with financial support from other souruces to complete their educations?
