Ok, someone very close to me works for Russell. I personally could careless who provides our uniforms but I came across something interesting. It has been discussed before we should dump Russell and I don't have an opinion one way or the other. That being said, for 2008 Russell outfits the following teams:

Can't help but wonder but why not switch to oh I don't know, Nike or Under Armor?? Without us and Miss State, who would Russell outfit?? A bunch of no-name schools!! Johnson C Smith Univ, or NC Central, where or what are these schools??? Just my 2 cents.

Just a guess but I would say that NC Central is somewhere in the center of North Carolina. :D

If Russell gives us more money, then I'd say that'd be a good reason not to switch. I don't think we named a building on campus after Ford, because we built it Ford Tough.

On the Russell thing, it has to be the deal. I can't imagine we wouldn't switch if Nike or UnderArmour or whoever offered more stuff/cash.

South Carolina is with Under Armour now.

Under Armour is building up their clientele list.
