Rumblings that Isray is going after Saban, might offer Gruden level money.

Saban is already making over million dollars more a year than the Raiders will be giving Gruden -- so they'll have to do better than Gruden level money.

I just don’t see Saban being successful in the NFL.

He’s not going anywhere that he doesn’t have full GM level control over the team. And that sort of scenario is usually unsuccessful. Plus, pros hated playing for him. They’d call him Nick just to piss him off. That shit doesn’t fly in college, but what is Nick going to do about a dude with a huge contract he can’t cut?

There’s a good story about how at Miami the players embarrassed the hell out of Saban with a stripper and laughed at him to his face over it.

No way that shit flys at Alabama. Those players would be gone instantly. But the pros are different, his persona doesn’t mesh there where everybody is a millionaire.

Saban is 66 years old, and only needs 1 more natty to break his current tie with Bear Bryant. He's not going anywhere, and will coach until he wins one more.
