Reasons:
1- GT, VT, and UVA are the only 1 loss teams in the ACC. If we beat UVA, we effectively eliminate them from the picture, even if we lose another game since we will own the tie break.
2- VT is playing FSU at FSU, the same time as us. They could easily lose this game and put them with 2 losses and behind us. If they get behind and we are ahead, the stadium will be rocking! Plus, VT still has games with UMD, @ Miami, and UVA to worry about. A FSU loss and another loss to one of those teams would just about make us a shoo in for the Coastal with 2 losses, unless UNC or Miami runs the table, which is highly unlikely.
