I went as a guest Monday night. Tommy Bowden was the speaker - he picked Miami to beat us.

Anyway, all the Tech fans were fined $2 for the evening....apparently at the previous Monday meeting @refrigeratormover invoked the F word 28 times during his speech. They said it was a new QB club record. And he apparently didn't hide his hatred of uga, even though most of the congregants are dwag fans.

I was more than happy to pay up! THWG....
 
I've been to their big end of season Bowl Party a few times. Last year's keynote speaker was hilarious. I can't recall who it was (NFL and I think Nebraska or Oklahoma in college) but he basically talked for an hour about getting paid in college. The other undercurrent of his speech was plowing the recruiting hostesses. It went on and on and there were a lot of unamused people.

It seems to me he was talking a lot of shit in order to sound funny.
 
I was there. Didn't remember anyone getting upset. But I was at a table of some of the youngest members. I might've been the oldest guy sitting there.

I had 3 former quarterbacks at my table. They were aggravated that he went so long and what he was talking about.

I talked to Tommy Bowden at the airport on the way to the ND game last year. He picked us to beat them for what it's worth.

He also couldn't remember Justin Thomas' name.

I heard the same thing about Mover strafing the QB Club with a barrage of Fs. And it is a fairly strong conclave of Dwags there. I've been there as a guest once, maybe twice.
