Saw CPJ Today

He had dinner at the Mellow Mushroom in Vinings. My girlfriend spotted him first...but just said that some guy came in with a cool Tech shirt on. I looked up and went :wow::eek5:. I wanted to go over and :bowdown::biggthumpup: to him but I said "Good luck coach!" and he nodded and smiled.

Actually he looks like he's lost some weight since he came in town.


Man I was shaking for a few minutes I was so excited.

Also, I saw Bryce Dykes doing laundry yesterday.

Random question...but is the house Tech provides to head coach up in the West Paces/Tuxedo Road area? I always wondered about that especially after reading about Tom Wolfe's A Man in Full.

But I really did see Bryce Dykes and the linemen. One time I saw Josh Nesbitt smoking a cigar walking down Ferst.

I know the realtor that helped PJ find a house here after he got hired, so I don't believe Tech provides a house for him. He makes enough money to afford one on his own. ;)

Threadjack, but I thought Wolfe's book, A Man in Full was pretty good, it painted an interesting picture of Atlanta as it changed a couple of decades ago.

Maybe at one point GT coaches did have a house up there.

Yeah, well I lived with 2 of them for a few years. Let me tell you, opening the shower in the morning to see the buzz head hanging up is a little unsettling.

And the smell of that thing is horrid, but getting a little drunk and trying to put the dog in it was hilarious.
