Saw This Pop Up

Its not “not good” its factual and objective.

Either we kick some butt this year or 11 people are out of a job. We have been overly generous with time but time’s up.

I think there is one thing the video overlooked. We have been in much worse shape than this and we have always come back with a vengence.

This really isn’t any different. My personal opinion is that Collins should be relieved of game management responsibilities. Except maybe on D. I do NOT want to hear him on the headset when we have the football. Let’s let Long, Cheney and Weinke manage that. Did I leave Key out of that meeting? Yes. Yes, I did.

If Collins wants to manage Thacker and co. and get our D working then fine. There HAS to be a reason we didn’t fire Thacker. Don’t know - don’t care.

Either step up or all y’all hit the road.

Same kid who writes many of the GT-focused articles posted here. Very much a Tech fan from a Tech family.
Funny how he quotes his dad in a couple spots. He was a classmate of mine, and no more of a football expert than you and I.

It’s interesting to hear the younger fans’ perspective. I don’t think of GT in terms of the triple option but understand how younger folks feel that way. We really have no identity right now other than sucking. Would love to see a high tempo offense with an aggressive, blitz heavy defense that forces teams to execute. This approach has its challenges but at least it would be a fun brand of football to watch.

First consecutive shutouts since 1957.

There’s a thread somewhere with Gef’s accomplishments. This needs to be added to it.

But have we really been in much worse shape? In terms of success on the field measured by our record, and fan support? I don't think so. I agree that we will come back but I harbor no illusions about the historically bad low point we are in right now.

Nothing in our lifetime will be worse than 1980
