Schlabach has us going to a bowl

He seems to be predicting that everyone wins more games than last year. I'm not sure how the math for that works, exactly.

can't stand to hear him speak on the Buck and Kincaid show..real tool

North Carolina or Wake Forest will win the ACC.

Slackback must be smokin' some good $#!% during the offseason. Wake has a shot to win it. UNC will be much better, but not good enough to win the Coastal.

I just don't see how everyone thinks Unc will be that much better...Improved a little but not barn burners or anything-

4. Duke will win more games.
The Blue Devils will at least triple their victory total from a year ago, when they finished 1-11 under fired coach Ted Roof. Former Tennessee offensive coordinator David Cutcliffe will open his Duke tenure with a 3-1 record. The Blue Devils will beat Division I-AA James Madison and Northwestern to start the season, then lose to Navy and beat Virginia. On Sept. 27, Cutcliffe will receive the keys to Mike Krzyzewski's office.

WHAT A CROCK!!!!!

These SEC pole smokers think any SEC coach that steps into our conference will just walk on water.

Ask Jimbo Fisher how last year worked out for him.

Duke will barely beat that D-IIII team.

I've been telling people this; Sure they have some talent and sure Butch Davis is a good coach - but they're getting the hype mostly because they're supposedly "due" to come back.

I've said many times that I'm not buying it and I won't until they win some football games.

And Schlabach is such a big tool box, Craftsman is trying to buy out his contract from ESPN.

We know he is a tool because his degree is from clarke county junior college, not because of his articles.

Actually, they'll probably be favored against both James Madison and Northwestern. As for UVA...I don't know. Certainly if they open the season 3-1 most people will be surprised, but the schedule is kind of set up for them to do that.

That seems ENTIRELY reasonable a prediction to me.

That doesn't seem reasonable to anyone else here? It's totally reasonable. Virginia is going to be one of the worst teams in the ACC this year, Northwestern is weak as hell, and James Madison's team is made of midgets and girls. Duke could have their best record in years, opening up their season. They'll still get butchered once they start playing real competition, but they could easily open up 3-1.

Seemed reasonable, did he make the predictions before or after they lost thier leading rusher to a knee injury?

James Madison will beat Duke

Some are picking them right up there with App State this season to win the FCS title. They also return most of their starters from a team that won 8 games and almost beat App State (fumbled at the goalline on the go-ahead TD).

Duke will be better but this one won't be easy for them.

I think Boston College will surprise people. Probably will finish second in the Atlantic. They have the best record in the Atlantic since joining the conference. They also have a pretty long bowl win streak going. I think they'll be just as tough as VT for us.
