Can someone tell me about this kid? I heard he might be the leading candidate for the KO specialist job this year... whats his height, weight, and what class is he in? Why is he not on the roster?

He's a walk on true freshman. Can't remember where he's from. Listed at 5'11 and 175 lbs.

Looked really good kicking off today. They gave several different kickoff teams a try. Both his kicks where very high and to the goal line.

Bad thing is we still didn't look good in kickoff coverage. No one had a real long return, but still didn't look good. They've still got some time to work on it though. Earls had the best return taking it around the corner.
 
He is from Calhoun GA. Go to premierkicking.com. His kicking coach is in Calhoun. Great Guy. If you locate the kickers/punters tab you will see his name. Click on his name and it will carry you to his scouting videos.
 
Just curious, but does height and weight mean anything when talking about kickers? I mean I can understand your curiousity over who this kid is; but why height and weight?
