Va Tech forgot to show up against LSU and I have been saying ever since the polls came out that they were overrated. Unless those three start picking it up the ACC is going to look like a **** conference again. "

welcome to the board but a word of caution...

if you read the internet board of any school, most of those who post on each respective board,including the Tech ones, are fans of that particular school. A such, most tend not to be the most objective posters. If you want to verify this, look at the prediction contests on each. Bottom line,these things are best used for entertainment purposes only and not for gathering information to use in wagering the weekly wages.:grin:

21 years of GT football means you have been through some good times and bad ones as well but I am not going to speculate on your age. Post often and welcome..this happens to be a fairly well balanced sampling of the GT sports fan population.

No no I understand that...I guess I should have said why I was shocked.

Besides the arrogance and nonchalantness(word?) of the statement...he didn't mention tech ANYWHERE in the post. You know...the one team that the rest of the country thinks is better than BC.

But he of course, as we do, has his right to any opinion he likes...it just surprised me.

Oh, and I was just referring to my age as being 21..thus 21 years of fandom.

Nor did he mention Clemson except that F$U lost to Clemson. It seems that he buys into the fact that if F$U, Miami, or VT are down then the conference is down.

Unfortunately no. I made the dumb mistake of taking the "easy way out" of high school and trying to transfer into tech after a couple years of school...Now that I finally have the option to I have fallen in love with State and my current job matches my major to the T. So I'm at State till graduation...but there is always grad school I suppose.

That doesn't sound like a mistake to me. Sounds like you are right where you need to be.
