Guys...lets not try to hijack this thread into something about CG...or something negative

Future Jackets...Sean Renfree and Drew Little (yes...we will get him) have just put up phenomenal stats this year and they are not done. These numbers are even better than those of Threet...we just have to hope that Sean does not have a girlfriend back in Arizona!

Sean Renfree (6-3, 205, 4.5; 4.0 GPA)
2,100 yds., 56% comp.
28 TD's; 3 INT's

Drew Little (6-5, 240, 4.9; 3.8 GPA)
2,550 yds., 58% comp.
28 TD's; 5 INT's

btw...Chris Jackson now has over 1,100 yds. receiving with 14 TD's.

Little at 240lbs & 6'5 as a junior. He's going to be a MONSTER by the time he hits the flats his freshman year! He may be in the 250-255 lbs range...unless he is forced to quit putting on weight. How toned is he?

Renfree- See ya next year & looking forward to seeing you display your talent on the flats....

Nice to see a WR with such impressive numbers. He might come in a compete for a starting position right away....

I'll drive her out here and put her up in the Four Seasons.

DISCLAIMER: This post is a joke. Humor. If you are from the NCAA, you might have to look that word up in a dictionary or find someone who isn't a dork and ask them to 'splain it to you. As such, it does not convey or represent any intent to carry out an action or to cause such action to be carried out that would not fall within the guidelines of booster interference in the recruitment or retention of a student-athlete as defined in the NCAA bylaws. I'd cite the chapter, paragraph, subparagraph, line number, etc. but I don't freakin know it because, not being from the NCAA, I'm not a freakin dork.

Renfree can really run a 4.5? That's very fast for a throwing quarterback. He may just come in and start next year.

I keep hearing Little is a lock to come to Tech, yet he has another year of highschool left and will definately get noticed. Isn't anyone worried the factories will put on the full court press for this guy? Why are you so sure he's ours?

Glad to see we got some good QB recruits coming in! Cant wait to see them in action. Does anybody have a highlight video of these guys?

Renfree is sick and is certainly among the most accurate QBs in the country. He is certainly not a scrambler... more of your typical drop-back QB who is already fairly polished as a high school QB.

As we all know, 40 times are often embellished... don't see that 4.5 as accurate, although apparently it was hand-timed (along with a 36.4" vertical and 4.38 shuttle?). More importantly, he does have excellent footwork and a quick release...

Little has lost some weight, but needs to cut down a bit more. He's not quite pushing the "Hefty Lefty" status, but could definitely lose a few pounds to help his mobility a bit. He's only a Junior, so he's got time.

I'm excited about both of these guys...if they get good coaching, they both have a chance to be really good.

Look for Jackson to get a very serious look as a freshman as will Jenkins if he finally decides on Tech. Even if they aren't the second coming of Calvin, their stats look impressive and the receiver position seems to me to be our most impoverished position.

I'd say CB is, but I agree with everything else.

Can't really disagree, but CB has been injury plagued this year and the guys have played hurt because of lack of depth. We could say the same about receiver but there seems to be more (non-quality) depth.

I think chris jackson will come in right away and snag a WR starting position next year. Lets not forget, hes on track to graduate in Dec. Enroll at GT in jan for the spring practices.

He is a QB with a lot of experience that has also spent a lot of time with extra coaching, lots of camps, etc. That probably helps him with knowing how to maximize combine opportunities.

Drew has been hanging out at Tech since he was a 9th grader. He has probably been to more Tech practices and games than any of the 2008 commits...and he never goes anywhere else. He has wanted to be a Jacket from day one.

Drew is a big-time GT fan.

Where does Drew go to high school?
