SEC back

Lol. You know, they could provide some data. Not hard to study at all. Plenty of players from every conference. Just line em up by # of starts as predicted by draft position and see if SEC players make the grade more often.

Nobody does shit like that, though. The hype train is all that matters.

I love the line about his first preseason game was against the Patriots, who didn't play a single starter! I think his sample size is skewed.

I had my eye on Fournette as a fantasy pick this year, depending on where I end up in the draft. Not so much anymore. He didn't even do that well. If he's happy with 3-1/2 ypc against backups, he won't be in the league very long.

so this is the narrative they're working with again, I guess. "the SEC is just too tough. most of the best players in the country don't survive past the spring games, so the conference is forced to field teams with inferior, five star talent."

The SEC is like a rhetorical MC Escher painting of narratives.

SEC has to be the best. Why else would uGA jump 21 spots in the rankings from 2016 final to 2017 pre-season?

Note to self - don't draft Fournette on my fantasy team. Opposing line backers will have fun with this,
