Let's just say I'm leaving for a little bit in the Army. I'll try to get back on here when I can for the latest info. Just wanted to say bye I leave the day after Christmas, so I've been hanging out with my son recently instead of posting. :laugher: You guys making it out to the blue turf land drink one for me!

Any way glad I found ST.. Great talking with you guys (and gals?) this past year its been a fun season of GT football!

Go Jackets! THWG!!!!

Be careful out there.

Thank you very much for your service.

Best wishes and a special thank you from a grateful nation!

Hurry back!

God speed & we do appreciate you and what you are doing.
Wife & I were waiting to board a flight back to Atlanta from San Francisco a few months back where there were about 12 Army soldiers waiting for the same flight.
They were generous enough to talk with many of us as we waited for flight.
I was very thrilled when we did start to board, that a stewardess came out to welcome us.
She stated that she had seen that there were some of our servicemen waiting to board so they could get home to their family, and she asked if we all would mind if they (soldiers) were allowed to go on board first.
Of course everyone stepped aside and cheered them onto the plane.
Did this old man's heart good to see that everyone of the folks waiting, were very eager to let these fine service men go ahead of us.
AS IT SHOULD BE !!!!!!

Give 'em hell, soldier. Hope to hear of an uneventful deployment when you return. Growing up in Savannah next to Hunter Army Airfield, I've had the PLEASURE of making the aquaintance of true Americans time and time again. Keep us up to date as you can. Now, quit reading this stuff and enjoy your time with your family!!

Keep your head down and your chin up! Get 'er done!!! Have a great X-mas and let us know when you get back...

You are right Rome, that is AS IT SHOULD BE. We fly frequently and thankfully this happens all of the time both boarding and departing the aircraft.

Also, the flight crews often upgrade our service personnel to first class. I LOVE to see this!

Will be looking forward to your return to the ST board loyalGT --take care of yourself.
