Seems to be a lot going on right now.

The football season is over and the basketball season is ready to head into conference play. A starting QB and DB were ruled academically ineligible for the Gator Bowl. The backup QB, who has been delegated to clipboard duty by the HC, was more than up for the task when called upon, leaving many of us asking, 'Why?'

An DL with all the promise in the world, who happens to be an excellent student, may have to consider a transfer if he wants to pursue his MBA. The starting SG and leading scorer on the basketball team has apparently lost his eligibility due to 'student honor code violation'. The team will look to last year's ACC top three-point shooter and second team all-conference to fill the void.

The HC, same HC who played the potential promising backup only because he had no choice, has been mentioned as a candidate for not one, but two HC jobs in the NFL. The HC could leave, the HC could take the DC with him. Would he take the OC? If faced with the eventual decision would GT then approach the DC to fill the HC position, or would GT go after the Tech man who is up for every HC vacancy open in the NFL right now.

D-Rad, buckle your chin strap and lace 'em up because it's time to get to work.

I assume you're talking about DRich. Tech offers an MBA, so why would he have to consider a transfer?

Edit: Sorry, I read your post before I read the post earlier about Richard.

Good questions, GT65. I was surprised that another thread about possible replacements for CG did not mention the "Tech man who is up for every HC vacancy open in the NFL right now". I think he'd be a great choice, because I've watched him up close here in Pittsburgh for a few years.

I would love to have Wisenhunt here, but I just don't think it is realistic to expect him to turn down 2 of the best NFL HC jobs and 4 times the salary to come to GT. If that is what he wants to do great, but I am not holding my breath.
