Self Umlatting to avoid language monitor will get you banned.

What if I do it while posting excitedly about Georgia winning, so long as I announce that I identify as a woman born in a man's body who identifies as a furry? That keeps me safe, right? And makes me a lulzepictrole, right?

edit: Or do I have to threaten suicide as well?

What is self umlautting? I thought the point of the filter was to replace the bad words with umlauts.

I could be wrong but I think if you type out a ceööööed word with your own partial censorship as opposed to letting the öööö system do the full word, you're in violation.

Ahhh, so don't type b*** for beer, but rather just let the system replace it with öööö. Obviously just using beer as an example here, because the admins have not yet fully implemented sharia law that would make any reference to alcohol prohibited.

Exactly, at least that's what I've taken from it. Self-umlauting seems kind of silly to me anyway since at least by letting the robots do the censoring I still get the satisfaction of typing out the offending word.

Until you actively implement a solution to the B*** L**** issue with word filtering, I will continue to self-censor that kind of filth from a family-friendly board.

Good show! I've been working on completely erasing *that guy* (see how easy?) from my memory banks. Already can't remember any of his staff. I'm getting better!
