It's the day we find out if we're building or competing. The second half in particular will tell the tale. Any argument in this being a cornerstone game?

We win this game, I'm going ahead and buying ACC championship game tickets.

We are for sure building.

Under CPJ we will never quit or stop competing, at least if those players want to remain on the team.

Cornerstone game. No.

3rd game, second straight on the road at toughest venue in ACC.

Next week will be much bigger test along these lines.

I predicted 5-1 to begin the season. We won one of the two games I was worried about. We take this one we are in the driver's seat. We lose, we are not hurt bad. This will be a tough one because of the turkey's speed.

This is the game that decides the favorites to win the division, so yes, I'd say it's a pretty big game.

It's a big game, but not a cornerstone of anything IMO. If we win, we're still a young team learning a new offense. We can still lose to almost everyone left on the schedule...the only thing it will mean is we're 3-0. If we lose, nothing changes about the team, we'll just be 2-1.

We are building regardless of the outcome of this game. We will be building each and every week. As has been mentioned, with CPJ we will always be competing --this team will not quit.

In terms of the Coastal this is a big game --win it and you have to at least be thinking about a division title (keeping in mind that GT travels to UNC late in the year, could be a big game).

It's one game at a time though and today it's VT.

We're beat up, we're thin in depth and we're new to the coaches and their system.

If we win today, we've really got something. :eek5:

Regardless of who wins today, UNC and probably Miami should be in that discussion as well.

Virginia Tech may not be good enough to provide a real test of where we are right now. That win of theirs was shaky.
