Serious props for CG from Dennis Dodd

That's a great report, and prompts me to say something I have been thinking recently.

The performance of the football team is a credit to our players as well as BOTH our current coach and our previous coach. As DD says, the misfortunes that have plagued this team would have melted other programs. CG and his staff have done a great job so far keeping the team focused, and working with the stregths and weaknesses.

The players have shown incredible heart, character and resiliency. They are the ones who have actually gotten it done on the field. I take my hat off to each and every one.

And what about the guy who recruited those good character people? It is a testament to GOL's philosophy that character counts. He deserves a share of the credit when accolades for this team are being passed out.

I'm just very, very proud of this team.
 
Same here, getwrecked.

One of the most encouraging things about how GT has handled this run of bad luck is the fact that there has been NO whining and NO negativity from the coaches. This says a world of good things about CG, IMO.
 
Yes, there were some positives about O'Leary. One of them was his selection of the athletes for GT. He was astute in recognizing good football players as well as those with good character.
