He's only going to see token appearances on the field until his Sr year. DJ should've went anywhere besides where he did.
David Green is very, very good. Green is gonna have a field day vs GT, in every sense of the word. What a pure passer. Reminds me of a smaller version of Lorenzen @ Kentucky. DG will probably hold EVERY Ga passing record when he's through. It's like a better model of Zeier. We'll have a hard time beating them the 4 yrs he's there.

Maybe Shockley will transfer to GT so he can pound Mark Richt for breaking his promise to him and his father that if he didnt go to FSU and came to Athens that he would be "gaurunteed" to start.

Green is a well-coached qb. Isn't his Dad a high school fb coach. I think DJ's is, too. But David cannot move a lick! He is a statue. All it would take is for protection to break down and he is done for.

If DJ doesn't start again this year. Two things will happen. 1) DJ will leave. Who knows where he'll go. I'd love him to come to Tech. But he'll probably go by spring semester. 2) Richt will never get another kid from DJ's dad's school as long as he's coaching there (yeah, he's a high school HC). It would be tough for MR to deal with, but that's alright. I would start Greene over Shockley, too. Then again, I've always been partial to a solid drop back passer. And yes, if his protection breaks down, he may be toast, but he's not the first QB to have that problem, and a few have succeeded before him...
