Should I be worried?

Maybe you should. Do you receive your mail in a P O Box? I do, and have not received my tickets either. I received the email about tickets being shipped, but had no tracking # in the email. I contacted the ticket office and was advised that UPS does not deliver to a PO Box. Well, duh!! My account with athletic association and ticket office has my PO Box, nobody bothered to contact me about a physical address prior to tickets being shipped. I think in the past they were sent thru the mail, not UPS. Why was I not contacted for my home address. I was told I could pick them up at Will Call window or send an address. I live 250 miles from Atlanta and may not attend every game, will call is not an option. Someone would use my tickets, but trying to pick up at Will Call, come on!!! I sent them an email on friday with my physical address and told them was not happy. Some one dropped the ball at ticket office. I have received no reply from tix office today and it's less than two weeks to first game. I have been a Tech fan for over 50 years. When possible have bought season tix, but when not able to do so due to work schedule, always attended games, 1 or 2 per year. You know, it's not like there is a waiting list for season tickets. I don't appreciate this treatment. I am p****ed!!

Update: I called 888-tech-tix at 5:01 PM and got the after hours call center. They were able to tell me my seats (Jackets Nest) had been allocated but the tickets havent been printed yet. They said to call back during regular hours for more info.

I just got mine today. I ordered them about 2 months ago. I received it in a UPS package that was labeled important info. express mail.

I think you didn't do your due diligence.
There were several emails from D-rad before June 30th that said tickets were being shipped via UPS; as they were sent that way last year also.

Having a PO Box, I would have expected you to know that UPS does not deliver to such a thing. You could have called them prior to Aug. 13th to give a physical address.

The tickets are shipped from Ft. Smith, Ark., not Atlanta; so your phone call would be the first the GTAA would know about the possibility of undelivered tickets.

This is similar to my students who "forget" to tell me they have a prior engagement until the week after the exam. When the syllabus tells them the exam date 2 months in advance.

Tech's Will Call is always empty when I walk by the Stadium; unless you regularly sell your tickets, or they don't allow you to change the pickup name for someone.

i have my PO Box at a UPS Store, that way it IS a physical address and both UPS and FedEx ship there.

not to rub it in, just to give you an alternative idea

Thanks for your help. I called ticket office, because I do have P.O. box. They will be sending my tickets by U.S. mail. So all is well if they get here in time which I have been assured they will. Thanks again.

Thanks to GTg8r for letting those stupid souls, me included, with a PO Box know that we have to always show due diligence when dealing with the Ticket Office. I have had my P O Box for over 30 years, don't recall having a problem in the past with receiving my season tix. I don't recall there being several messages in DRad's comments re: sending by UPS, but then I don't read everything he sends with a "fine tooth comb". I don't receive a lot of "mail" thru UPS, but even as dumb as I obviously am, I know they don't deliver to a P O Box, since they are not part of the U S Postal Service. Next year I just save the money I spent on tickets. In addition, I will save a lot of money spent for gas, meals and some times lodging involved with the 550 mile roundtrip I make when attending home games. May be they can use my tickets next year in the "Free Ticket Tuesday" promo

I think you have a very legitimate beef. When the AA is trying to increase season ticket sales, the number one imperative should be, IMHO, "Don't piss off the existing customers."

Just my opinion.

Imagine being a graduating senior and being at graduation rehersal and finding out that you weren't on the list to graduate because of an unpaid parking ticket. Then you frantically rush around and find out that it was another person's ticket but that it was too late to do anything about graduation as all the paperwork had been filed... yeah i feel your pain man... GT is the best at absolutely laying the shaft to all. From the first day i started to my F'ing graduation day i got reamed!

I moved at the end of July and contacted the ticket office about it by 8-1. The tickets weren't sent out until 8-13, but still my tickets were sent to the old address. This kind of thing happens I guess, but I didn't get a lot of help when I called the AA. Luckily my old address is around the corner and I'm still in good standing with the office people so I got mine.

Even so shouldn't the ticket office be more proactive in making sure every sale is a positive one?
