Should Miami decline, should the ACC withdraw the offer to VT?

A topic of conversation that is on my mind, and I'm sure has been on the minds of all ACC fans. I think should Miami stay put in the Big East, we should take the offer to VT off the table. They offer us nothing financially, basketball wise, or baseball wise. I think their Lady basketball took out Agnus Beranato in the first round, but that's the only sport I know them being decent in besides football. Sure, schedule strength would rise. I'd love to make up for the Lightning Bowl in '00 and play them, but that is just not good enough to include them and force us to go to 18 basketball games and 27 baseball games in conference.

I don't know maybe I'm just venting, but I honestly don't know.

The only way I would want to take back an earnest offer to VT is if GT went with them. The ACC should try to salvage at least a tad of honor before this is all over.

JJacket, I agree 100%!! We have burned enough bridges! Never, ever can we do that to another school!!! NEVER, NEVER!!
