Jonathan Dwyer.

Nice to see that at least some writers nationally are recognizing Dwyer's superb talent and season so far. It would be so easy (and lazy) to chalk up his success to the system, but he'd be a stud no matter where he played.

ACC MVP needs to be a defensive player. Maybe Alphonso Smith.

defensive players dont consitently win games all by themselves... when you think defense you think of the whole unit... offense it where there are individual pressures...

There aren't any offensive players in the ACC winning games all by themselves. The ACC has ZERO Heisman candidate. The ACC is a defensive conference and should have a defensive MVP.

Maybe, but MVP's are for indvidual performances and those tend to go to offensive players. Still we have a fewmore weeks before somone has to stand out, but I think Dwyer could be in the mix.

Though Brandon Tate was a complete STUD and the likely candidate before he got inured. (also a big reason for the loss against UVA) He was a game changer in special teams and on offense. With him out, you're right it is a toss-up.
