Attendance to the UGAg game might be 60k, with 59k being dwag fans.Official attendance was 41,101. Notre Dame was #9 that year. TV was a rarity in those days, only one game per week. ABC televised it which probably contributed to the less than capacity. Two weeks later we beat Georgia at Grant Field 6-0. Attendance was full - 60,106.
Take a look at that yellow... FML
Nice...pom-poms!Great memories from a bygone era. Grant Field, November - 1969

I've had season tix for 4 decades - I have no idea what the capacity of BDS is - it changes every five minutes and its not really a metric I'm focused on since it rarely comes into play as they say.Shouldn’t we expect a “Tech Fan” to be actually know the current capacity of Bobby Dodd?
Too many years ago now to be sure, but I tend to remember that the stadium was packed. Wasn't that the first of the two fish-throwing games? The first one was pretty funny, but the second one devolved into bottle throwing too, in addition to fish.Official attendance was 41,101. Notre Dame was #9 that year. Yeah… it’s 55k, but it was roughly 41k back then and they got 60k in there…Shouldn’t we expect a “Tech Fan” to be actually know the current capacity of Bobby Dodd?
