with our coaching choices. Why not Ron Zook? At a quick glance he has a lot to offer.

First and formost he knows how to beat the mutts.

He has successfully brought to life a program on the rocks with very little talent.

He has great recruiting conections in the southeast.

He knows how to beat the mutts.

He knows how to beat the mutts.

He was doomed to fail at UF. Hell 99% of the coachhes out there would not have appeased the swiming lizards faithfull.

C'mon he is coaching at a black hole for college football. He coaches in a conference where he will always be looking up at Michigan and Ohio St. The state of Illinios cares more about Notre Lame than thier own in state school. Why the hell would he not want to come and coach in the ACC. He would have a helluva easier time getting to the BCS.

I would be concerned with ethics with Zook. He seems shady.

I have very little to go on (aside from some off the field stuff I heard about him when he was at UF) and the fact the his awesome recruiting at Illinois is highlighted by some very high risk characters.

I think we should give a hard look at Turner Gill. He played quarterback, has coached quarterbacks, and has head coaching experience. We can also afford him I would think.

Hatcher is also an interesting possibility. As with Gill, he played quarterback, has coached quarterbacks, and has head coaching experience. We can also afford him, too.

These are my two choices.
