Hasn't the recent past shown that QB's are less likely to get seriously hurt running the ball than when dropping back and getting sacked?

Oliver is pretty darned talented running with the football. It will be interesting to see how the QB race shakes out if he stays at QB. That slashing style fits well with read option concepts, and he seems like a good decision-maker. Passing is the big question mark but if he can tighten defenses grinding out first downs on the ground and throw well enough to make defenses pay for tightening up, he could be an interesting guy to give series.

Be interesting to see Oliver at RB as well. Apparently he is now 6-2 210 lbs if ramblinwreck.com is to be believed. Will play somewhere...dude is quick and tough.
