This is all very sad and regrettable, but I understand. When in doubt take the high road and it appears that GT has done that.
I hope this process has not alienated CG. After all this was CG's hire and based on CG's other hires he gets high moral people. I hope CG will not be upset the way GT handled this.

Personally, I'm not happy with the way this thing ended. But, it ended and "that is that". So, I just hope CG can get a good DC and move on to building this team into a champion.

I hope I'm not offending anyone here, but Chan Gailey, Dave Braine and company could use your prayers right now. If for no other reason, they'll need some help to get through this mess. This is an unpleasant situation, but it could be MUCH worse (Alabama, UK, heck the ENTIRE SEC!). I have faith in CG, Braine and the rest to move this football program to the next level.

Oh yeah a little prayer for Rick Smith couldn't hurt either
