Recognizing the importance of the bowl game and practices for it....has decided to schedule bowl game practices for weekends only.

2 practices a week? Are you serious?

What is he doing the other 5 days....hunting for a new job. He doesn't give a crap about these players, only time they can go home is on the weekends and he schedules practices for sat sun. Players are not happy about this.

Expect there to be an interim HC for the bowl game; when chan is canned it will be a clean break.

this is a good thing.
 
Considering finals are coming up and players need to be ELIGIBLE to play in the bowl game, I don't think it is such a bad idea.

right ok....that is why the players are po'd. Cause its such a good idea right? Such a good idea...he never did this in the past and almost every other school practices at least 3x a week.

The guy is a clown.

it might Gailey's solution to what happened last year with 2 starters coming up ineligible for the bowl.
 
This thread needs some links, both to the '2 practices a week' thing and the 'players opinions' thing.

Calm down 33 --when you posted no one knew if this was some article you read of if you had some 'inside' info. That's all --not disputing validity --just asking if you read it somewhere.

Fellow posters ask for links quite commonly --so get over yourself.

tough to link insider stuff though...that was my point...how ridiculous a request that can be.

I am over myself...its just if one feels the right to call me out, I should have the right to call out back? Right?

Dude --I wasn't calling you out if that's what you're accusing me of. The ridiculous request was inquiring as to whether or not the information you posted was read somewhere or if it was indeed something you knew 'from the inside'.

And you do need to get over yourself if you consider it all important to re-post on a thread just to say 'I told you so'.

We've always scheduled practices on the weekends during dead week. It's just that this year Thanksgiving came a little earlier and we've got an additional week before finals. Not that it matters anyway because Chan is gone, but you were being a bit ridiculous.
