and the ones who like him the most here claim he won't run the option.

PJ to me is not as good of a coach as Grobe and really no more innovative and probably less but the only way he works is if he stays 10 or more years and builds his system up with GA high school talent. I would be shocked if he beat UGag in his first 4-5 years here until we became a triple option beast.

I have no idea why we would consider a pure option offensive coach and that's what johnson seems to be.

I'm still tryign to figure out why we hire a great AD who saves our bacon and people get in the way of his recommendations. Does his candidate have character, competency, and "calling"? By calling I mean he wants THIS job and has a vision for what he can do here. If so, he should be/have been hired.

PJ is not the right choice. that option thing could turn into a debacle perhaps maybe even eclipsing the curse of mediocrity brought on by chan. If we hire PJ, we might not beat UGA for 4 more years. The bottom line is, we need Hatcher!

All we ever hear from you is "PJ is bad, CH is good." Why do you feel that way, other than just because? I'm not calling you out or anything, I'm just truly curious what reasons folks have for not liking him besides "the option will never work in big time I-A football." I don't know if I'm missing something huge here.

I've yet to hear a good reason why PJ shouldn't be good here. I've also yet to see any reason why CH wouldn't be good. I'll be happy with either.

I feel the same way. Actually, of the main names being thrown around at this point (PJ, CH, WM, JF, RN), RN is the only one that I really don't want to see. While I actually like his personality better than any of the others, I just don't know about his track record off the field, and his last couple of seasons at Washington were less than stellar if I recall.

1- We dang sure did not beat UGA with a pro style offense.
2 - We beat them with the option when Pepper was coach in the mud.
3 - Godsey went in from 30 + yards on an option play against the mutts.
4 - I could care less what we run as long as we score more than the other team.
