and the ones who like him the most here claim he won't run the option.
PJ to me is not as good of a coach as Grobe and really no more innovative and probably less but the only way he works is if he stays 10 or more years and builds his system up with GA high school talent. I would be shocked if he beat UGag in his first 4-5 years here until we became a triple option beast.
I have no idea why we would consider a pure option offensive coach and that's what johnson seems to be.
I'm still tryign to figure out why we hire a great AD who saves our bacon and people get in the way of his recommendations. Does his candidate have character, competency, and "calling"? By calling I mean he wants THIS job and has a vision for what he can do here. If so, he should be/have been hired.
