And damn it looks bleak for our future.

So far #54 , #60, #72 have played enough snaps to asses what they are and it ain't good.

We won't solve our OLine Problems next years either, based on the jump they have made so far from HS until now.

Next year we are in trouble, the Portal ain't bringing any Game-ready OLs through that door.......(think Pitino coaching the Celtics :rotfl: ).

Where is the heck do we turn?

I guess what ticks me off the most is that we never seem to play smart FB, it's like about 75 of the 85 Guys we have on scholarship , started playing HS FB when they were Juniors, and they never went to camps either.

I think that's our recruiting strategy. We get higher rated recruits that are high talent upside but no previous skill development
 
This is the only reason I'm willing to wait and see the offense next year. We haven't gotten very far into the OL that were actually recruited out of HS to come here. I think the OL staff would benefit from playing guys that have had lots of time to be built how they want and to have multiple years together. I don't think it should be this bad though.

There’s no reason to öööö on our freshman OL. That’s a position that probably benefits the most from a few years of college level weight training and strength gains.

Sure they are big boys and dominated in HS but they are playing in a whole different universe now. Give ‘em time.

Anyone who craps on a freshman lineman that was never expected to see action is a moron. Go back and look at 72's offer list.

On the subject of the OP, it's wildly premature to be making judgments on these young OL. Maybe not the case with some of the Stingtalk freshmen.

Not just questioning but starting a thread to highlight it. Attacking freshman who are ideally not put in the line of fire until 2nd or 3rd year.

How much more of this BS are we going to take from this jackass?
