We really need a spread offense.

Before you start talking about 'average', this means getting 29 points every game.

Spread offenses don't score 29 points every game, they just average over 29 points.

What you need to be doing is looking at the std deviation of scoring.
 
Also spread teams that score quick and often will also allow their opponents to score more, so you can't just compare it to the points we let in each game and say we would be 16-2.

You can say this though: if we scored 5 more points in each game last year we would have only lost 1 game.
