So Oliver is in the game running the Offense like a machine

Who knows. Marshall has zero confidence. The rest of the team reflects that
His body language and how he moves in the pocket is just so obvious. He gets rattled and defeated and the whole team goes down with him.

Exactly. We looked like a different team with Oliver in, so of course he gets pulled.

There were runs of, I think, 0 yards and 2 yards two plays before Taquon went back in. Then we had to pass on 3rd and 8. And then Taquon completed a 20 yard pass.

He benched him because we needed to pass. It's pretty simple. And it's not Marshall's fault that Searcy fumbled - if he holds onto the ball it's game over right then.

I see that and it makes sense, but I would have liked to have seen Tobias throw the ball. I thought he showed a lot of poise on the field,

Any predictions Tobias starts before the end of the season?

Why would we predict that? Marshall was REALLY good for most of today's game, and there's a reason that CPJ pulled Oliver when we needed to pass. He's not a good passer.

This is one of the situations where Lucas Johnson would have a real shot at being the starter. Sucks he had foot injury.

we get 3 straight scoring drives. Then CPJ benches the kid. What on earth........

We were in third and long. He felt TM would have a better shot at completing a long pass to get us a first -- which he did. Cross post from other thread:

Plays on the drive you are complaining about taking TO out on:

Red hot TO: Run for 2 yards
Red hot TO: Run for 1 yard loss
Ice cold TM: Completion for 21 yards
Ice cold TM: Run for 7 yards
Ice cold TM: Run for 6 yards
Ice cold TM: Run for 6 yards
Ice cold TM: Run for 1 yard
Ice cold TM: Run for 7 yards, fumble (not by Ice Cold TM)

Yeah, that QB switch really killed our production with the game on the line.

CPJ's offensive genius is the only thing that even kept us in the game. His inability to field even a mediocre special teams unit or defense is what lost it for us.
