We have:

Ohio St/Big Ten...10-0

Michigan/Big Ten...10-0

Boise St/Western Athletic...9-0

Louisville/Big East...8-0

Rutgers/Big East...7-0

are the only undefeated teams this year.

In there we have (2) Big Ten teams..(2) Big East teams..(1) Western Athletic team.

No Pac Ten Teams..

No SEC Teams..

This should put the BCS folk to shapening their pencils.

And what irritates me is that the campaigning has started to rematch the OSU/Michigan game in the BCS championship game. That would be an absolute travesty...

It's no suprise that the undefeated teams are from the Big East and Big Ten. Both those conferences have 1 or 2 damn good teams and then crap for the rest of the conference.

Exactly...if Boise St, Rutgers, etc. had to play in the SEC or ACC...week in and week out...they would be nowhere near undefeated.

....and do not point to one game matchups...it is the week in and week out that gets you.

...and in the Big 10 Ohio State does not even play their #3 team Wisconsin. Without a divional alignment like the ACC and SEC...it makes it much easier on them.

New BCS tie-ins:

Sugar Bowl: At-large vs. SEC Champ (if available)
Fiesta Bowl: At-large vs. Big 12 Champ (if available)
BCS Championship: ACC Coastal Division Champion vs. No. 2

The other 2 are irrelevant.
