Can we cover it? I think so, but I want "expert" opinions...lol

Anyone see any other upsets this week (not to cover, but to win outright?)

It was a good weekend last week. The little brother and I cleaned up

FSU was huge (i picked the upset and it got me paid 19 to 1)

I think we cover, Clemson beats TCU and Texas Tech beats Houston
 
You're on the same page....I love Clemson but they're a favorite not an underdog

I'm on the fence about TT...I haven't seen a lot to impress and Houston is so damn wide open that it's a tough call
 
Agreed that TT isnt a lock but I really feel like Houston's win @ OkSt was just 'one of those games'.... my bad, I didnt look at the line for clempson, just the rankings, I'm making predictions like HD over here!...

Clemson, I've actually already moved the points down to a pick'em.

I think Clemson is gonna end up being a 9 or 10 win team....just my opinion
 
Not sure what the line is on Michigan St - Wisconsin, but I had gotten the impression Wisconsin was favored and I think they'll lose.

What about the Pitt, NC St game. I have no clue what to think about that one.

Not sure about Wisconsin. They're not special but they find a way to win. I'll probably stay away.

As for NC State, they're a 3.5 pt dog if I remember correctly...and unlike last years ending of the season, they've yet to impress more nor has Wilson

I think our O is going to have a breakout game. The D will do better, but still give up 3 TDs. I'm thinking something along the line of 35-24 good guys.
 
We are going to struggle against UNC's DL. I just hope and pray that we get our defensive issues addressed or we are going to be playing catch up ball.

We desperately need an early lead in this game.

Burdell, I hope you're wrong cause we all know that this offense isn't one that need to come back and win...unless it's a FG. If it's 7 + look out
 
I honestly think that this is going to be the game to get us back on track the rest of the season. We've had a rough start, but I really think our guys are gonna come out with clear heads and heavy hearts.

Our coaches are gonna call plays right and fire up our guys for this.

This is the game... I hope... I know...

Call me crazy, but I think S Carolina will upset Ole Miss tonight. They're at home, should be loud, nat'l audience, beat them last year, solid defense and some semblance of an offense (for once)... Of course, I'm biased because they are my 2nd team and were my #1 growing up.

In addition, Ole Miss is the obvious media darling, and I don't think they are one of the 4 best teams in the country.

Funny you say that, I was kickin' that idea around this morning.

USC usually plays well on Thursday (like us for the most part) but who knows. i also haven't seen a lot of Ole Miss yet

Well this one isn't 2 in a row.

We'll have to wait and see... My main concern is all the crazy s*** Nutt does, from trick plays to the Wild Rebel etc. And McCluster worries me. But I think Spurrier has enough things left in his bag to pull out the W tonight.

The one Ole Miss game I saw agaisnt Memphis, Snead looked like a scrub for most of the game but he got it together in the end and the Rebels blew up the fourth quarter to pull away from what was a rather close game

If NC State can find a decent receiver or two they could be a real threat and I would pick them to win over Pitt, but that USCe game really showcased their ability to drop passes... especially crucial ones
 
I like Purdue at home +9 against ND.

I like VT +2.5 at home to win over Miami.

I like Kentucky +23 at home to cover vs. Florida with Kiffenitis.

Play Arkansas +18 at Alabama.

Play Fresno State +17 at over rated Cincinnati.
 
I don't understand why BC is favored by 1-2 over Wake.

With Auburn's defense the way it is (CRAP), I would be tempted to take Ball St +32.

I think you mean 1.9 to 1.

If not, I need to meet your bookie, because he's obviously smoking crack if you got paid 19 to 1 betting FSU straight up.

I got them at +250 (2.5 to 1). I think the spread was 7 or 8.
