So.... What they going do about it???

Offseason priority: Fire Mike Sewak.

 The idea that anyone on the planet has any clue how we'll do next season.

Offseason priority: become sober and sue GT for causing a disability.

I already plan on this. Tailgate attendees can confirm I smoke like a chimney and I had never put a cigarette to my lips or even wanted to until the 2010 Independence Bowl. I was past drunk by halftime and hard drugs weren't available so I started smoking and I've never looked back.

2010 Georgia Tech Football: Have you given any thought to cancer instead?

Yep, confirmed ...can't afford a ticket to the game or Shock Top Belgium White as promised to GTMom but he sure as hell can afford his smokes!

They gonna fix it! CPJ is not gonna allow himself to be embarrassed again like 2015.

Our Offensive line moving on is the highlight of this off-season. Bring in younger talent that hasn't been totally regressed by Mike Sewak yet. Better yet, just play freshmen and sophomores in the offensive line every year.

We can "get back to basics" on Offense, but what about DEF?.We never were "near the basics"--you know those strnge things -effective tackling, anticipation moves, pass rush, etc. -that get 3 and outs

Go on...you can say it....I know you want to...if you don't I will....

there is one factor that tends to be left out and is not offered as an excuse but it is a factor: there have been numerous changes as to how the offense can block.

one example is greater restriction on "crack back" type blocks where a WR blanks a LB that is trailing with the QB or RB and is looking into the backfield and gets blind-sided

the emphasis on stopping "chop blocks" means that if your OL gets pushed by his assignment into another DL - even just incidental contact - then they likely call it if he is engaged with another OL

i think in the current atmosphere of more regard for player safety, previously acceptable practices are becoming more restrictive

Which I imagine is due, at least in part, to the whining we heard from the likes of Beamer and Foster early in CPJ's tenure.

Through 8 years, there hasn't been much of a change to what we do and I doubt anything will change next season. You just have to hope for better blocking and tons of great breaks.
