And how are you getting there? Driving, flying? What are your estimated costs? I need thoughts...

I plan on cross country skiing... just got tickets to the peach bowl so it looks like that will be my bowl game appearance this year.

Big plant startup in Abalama over Christmas/New Years. Wouldn't matter if it were the Orange Bowl, I couldn't go.

why boise? if it had been the music city bowl I definitely would have gone. How many people do you think will actually go?

It's about 2,100 miles from Atlanta to Boise. If you get four people to drive there on a 7 day trip(3 days driving each way), it would be about $350 + food. And you would get a good story to tell people. That's not too bad....

I'm trying to go. We sounded like we had a really good time the last time we went to Boise.

At a certain point you can hitch up some sled dogs and ride Iditarod style.

I joke, but I was told by a friend in the AA that the last time the FB team went up there, they had some kind of activity for the teams involving sled dogs, and other unique stuff that they really enjoyed. So apparently some of the people who went last time have been telling the guys that a Boise trip could be pretty fun.

The football team had a blast last time in Idaho. PJ Daniels had some great comments about the snow / sled dogs / etc. I think Chan prevented them from skiing until after the game, though, to reduce pre-game injuries. :)

I plan to drive down from Seattle. If by pure chance any of ya'll are up here, let me know. Meanwhile, I'll get with our local GT club and see if we can get a decent sized block.

Sorry guys, but I'm not spending NYE in Boise, ID.

Best of luck though.
