in the Champ. game in Tampa...Besides winning tonight what must happen?

If we get to Tampa I want to play Fsu again....This would be best for the ACC...Fsu and Gt will bring the most fans and generate the most interest in the Tampa area..i.m.h.o.
 
FSU needs to beat Maryland tonight.

Then BC has to lose to Maryland next week.
 
Wake was going to beat BC, until 2 minutes left in the game. Oops.

Personally I don't want to play F$U again, I still have nightmares of their 1-song band.
 
I want no part of FSU again...I want someone who has not seen us if we go...particularly Maryland.

Personally, I don't think FSU is smart enough to learn from seeing us this year. I'm sure the prevailing "wisdom" down there is that they "figured out" the offense when Nesbitt when down, and that they should have won. I don't think they'll be able to stop us. I look at it this way, do you think Mickey Andrews could out coach Paul Johnson?

No....but FSU does have great athletes on defense and it is just not good to play someone twice in one year when you barely beat them the first time.

maryland and wake are much much weaker than fsu....particularly wake's offense.

We barely beat them ONLY because Josh went down in the 3rd Qtr.
We would have beat them by 2+ TD's if Josh had stayed in...

I like our chances with Fsu and the ACC has the best chance filling that Stadium with a Gt-Fsu matchup...

Don't even think that....I said early in the season, there was NO comparison between Josh and Jaybo, a huge dropoff for us when Josh is out...

With Josh and JD healthy we can beat anyone....
I look for Tevin Washington to be a good option next year if Josh has to come out in a crucial game...He looked good in the Spring, in partcular rushing, he is faster than Jaybo but not as polished at this point...Once he get's the system down, he will be a homerun threat at the QB position just as Josh is.. A threat to go the distance anytime he has the ball, that is what we miss when Josh is out this year, the homerun threat with the run from our QB...

We rarely stopped the FSU offense either.

If you think FSU a second time would be an easier game than either the anemic Wake or Maryland offenses which would be lucky to score 10 on us...then...well...I do not even need to expand on the thought.

I don't look at it that way...We beat Wake or Maryland and go to the Orange bowl and play a Big least team like Cincy and the rest of the college football world thinks we are nothing or not legit. We beat Fsu and go to the Orange Bowl and trounce Cincy we will get a little more respect...I also don't want to see another ACC Champ. game with all those empty seats, BC,Wake and Maryland will leave a bunch of empty seats in Tampa, a Fsu-Gt matchup puts more fans in the stands. The ACC needs that stadium full. If we were to get that matchup with Fsu and don't win, then we don't deserve the Orange Bowl anyway. I.m.h.o. we can beat anyone with a healthy Nesbitt and Dwyer.

Make no doubt about it, Fsu and Miami like days of old still have loads of talent. We beat a talented Miami team last Thursday. Young but very talented. Fsu can dominate when they are on, tonight they are on. Another very young team.
 
If we make our way in (GO CAVS) part of me would like to see FSU for the good of the ACC, but I think I'm leaning to BC for us. It would be like a Seminole home game in Tampa. It'll be half empty if it's GT-BC.

One big difference....FSU has Jimbo Fisher and Miami has Patrick Nix.

FSU's offense, when not spending the night in prison, is a threat.
