Some things I\'m thankful for...
1. My faith, family, and country (though flawed, it still pretty much kicks ass, relatively). I fought for it once many, many years ago and, I reckon I would do it again, although it's pretty ugly business overall. I never thought I would feel that way for about 35 years. We could do a lot worse.
2. A crisp Saturday afternoon when the Wrek and the Jackets exit the tunnel. Man, that sets me on fire and I wouldn't trade my degree for 3 Ivy League diplomas.
3. Buzz eating a baby's head. That never fells to crack me up.
4. Telling my son about "back in the day" when I was at Mother Tech.
5. Screaming "bust their ass" between cheers of "DEFENSE...DEFENSE."
6. Any misfortune befalling the dawgs - ANY!!!! - hey, it's my thankful list and I'm sticking to it. You can write your own.
7. Some truly clever stuff here on Stingtalk. And when we lose, the sort of group-hug that only men in an on-line, impersonal message board can participate in - good times.
8. The Hotties.
9. Did I mention the Hotties?
10. Knowing that despite long odds, the good guys sometimes win.
I hope each and every one of you and your loved ones have a blessed, wonderful Christmas.
