That was a GREAT win for the Yellow Jackets today!!!

Kudos to the coaching staff for getting the team ready to play, the game plan reminded me of some of the game plans when CPJ was here and the defense played lights out, didn't they?

However, UM is still the same old dirty football team, there were a few other targeting plays that were not called, along with some other thuggish plays by UM. And the U is poorly coached IMHO!

BTW.............................................How 'Bout Them Dwags!?!

Piss on 'em.

Still Trying to figure out why they never reviewed jamal's hit

I honestly feel like the targeting they finally called was the most questionable of the bunch. It was a vicious hit, but the couple of ones they reviewed before it looked more blatant to me.
I agree that the first two were more blatant and "textbook" helmet to helmet hits. All three were targeting, but the first two were definitely missed calls.

There were two pretty bad targeting no-calls, both reviewed, but I think if they'd have been called on the field they'd have been upheld.

There was a flagrant off-the-ball personal foul that the refs just completely missed.

There was one other time that the TV broadcast crew felt Miami could've been called for a late hit.

And then the two personal fouls they *did* call were on the same play.

So that's 6 possible personal fouls, out of which effectively only one was called, and we only got 15 yards total.

The only bad no-call I noticed in Tech's favor was Harvey (I think) with two pretty flagrant fistfuls of Miami WR jersey well before the ball arrived.

Let's also not overlook the 52-3 pounding the now 1-9 Florida State Criminoles took at the hands of Notre Dame today as well  .

F$U is en route to their worst season since the 1-10 team of Darrell Mudra [Remember him? Didn't think so.] back in 1974!
Darrell Mudra story from PJ:
Mudra was the HC at Northern Iowa and coached from the press box.
PJ was the OC at Ga Southern and they met UNI in the I-AA playoffs
Southern wins, and Mudra and PJ were in the elevator together
Mudra says, “I told em we’d get burned if we stayed in that defense.”
PJ thought to himself - you’re the head coach. You can tell em to get out of it.

1-11 would be worse than 1-11. They can do it!

As comical as 1-11 would be (and at this point, even though they're my second favorite team, the comedy is the only thing left), I don't see them losing to Charleston Southern in 2 weeks. This collapse is more than just talent lost from last season, but I've opined enough on that subject for everyone to know where I think the team culture got off track.

Whatever happened to the f$u partisan who said he'd eat dog squeeze out of a red Dixie cup if they lost to BC ??

Wonder what he's eating now that they are at 1-9 ?
