They play football in Indiana ?I'd talk so much trash to my neighbors...
Better than ShreveportThis year's team deserves to go to Detroit.

I live an hour from Detroit in a beautiful city called Flint. Honestly downtown Detroit is really nice. It's the perimeter of Detroit that's bad. There's a lot to do around Ford Field. 3 really nice casinos. MGM, Motor City and Greektown which is a 5 minute walk to the Dome. As well as great restaurants and the most important part, amazing strip clubs. So here's to .500 and a day in the D after Christmas!
Detroit is the most appropriate ending for this season. Although I really wish we could get Purdue instead of Indiana. That would be kinda funny... but would require Purdue to actually win some games.
Purdue doesn't have a football team

Trust me it has its bad areas but the suburbs are really nice and there's a lot going on all the time in the city. Outdoor ice skating, shows at the Fox, casinos and some shopping. Great food too. Its no Atlanta or Chicago but it's has done good things going for itself. Just depends on what you're interested in. And Ford Field is a great place to watch a game. They also sell beer during the bowl game.Good info! When I think of Detroit, I usually think of urban decay. Glad to know there's some fun things to do there.

The old General Motors College offered me an academic scholarship out of high school. My sister lives in the Detroit suburbs and used to live downtown. Her car was stolen and you can guess where that was done. It wasn't Livonia.Trust me it has its bad areas but the suburbs are really nice and there's a lot going on all the time in the city.
