other than the biggest win since '90.
At least for me, Chan Gailey became the head coach of Ga. Tech. I know that sounds ridiculous, but in the past there was a question in my mind of how committed he was to Tech.
During the hell of last week I thought Chan's emotions and passion for Tech showed itself loud and clear. Last night, there was a fire in his demeanor that I have not seen at gametime.
I understand that Chan is not one to run his mouth about himself. That's a great characteristic of this fine man. Last night I thought this team demonstrated the respect and admiration they have for this man. That says much more than any words can.
Anyway, I know I can be reactionary and I can only say that this feeling is not because we hung on to beat #3 at the end of arguably the worst week in Ga. Tech football.
I am just listening to a strong feeling in my gut. That is, that Chan Gailey is now a "Tech Man". I am sure he probably was long before I noticed, but his post game emotions showed me a lot about the way he feels about his players and for Ma Tech.
