I wish I hadn't clicked on those links. Uggh, two HORRIBLE calls...I hate ugag with every bone in my body - I would love nothing more than to demolish them this coming saturday.
 
Looking through the responses on youtube makes me want to bop half those idiots over the head like in that shoulda had a v-8 commercial.

I'd just like for the ACC refs to actually give us a few calls for a change. I think they try so hard to be impartial that they help UGA instead.

After the SEC refs were chastised for the Sanks fumble, you'd never see their refs assist us.

Gawd, that Reggie Ball fumble play was total b.s. The refs were holding people, they were breaking up the pile. That play was dead.
 
The fact is we have to be ready to win in spite of these kinds of calls. That is a part of the hump we have to get over if we're going to beat Georgia. Its not unlike when we beat Duke at Duke in basketball in 2004. We had to overcome all the calls by making plays on the field.

Bitching and moaning about it does nothing to help. All it does is reinforce the defeatist attitude, which fuels these kinds of calls. Break the vicious cycle.

Kirbee, you are absolutely correct. That was not my intent originally, but it's how it came out. Personally, I'd like to see UGA play their best game and then we kick their butts anyway.
 
We, as an entire fan base, should quit complaining about calls. The refs are gonna make good calls and bad calls.

I agree and this is something that CPJ has done a good job of overcoming so far but I will say that this series has had more than it's share of blown at worst / questionable at best calls in the 4th quarter that have directly impacted the outcome of the game.

I think during O'Leary's tenure the ACC refs helped a couple of times in Athens and would like to see that come back around.
 
Anyone who thinks we havent got the short stick in calls against Georgia over the last 4 years hasn't been watching the same games I have.

That being said, we cannot complain about them, and really need to win well enough that we can overcome a 7-10 points gifted to them.
 
I'm just waiting for the chop block call on our first running play. I'm pretty sure ACC refs are going to call that to spite CPJ for his previous comments. I can guarantee they call it atleast once in this game. I just isn't a game changing call.

Well to be fair we probably will be guilty of chop blocking at least once in this game.

I hope they call it on a play that doesn't matter just to get it out of the way.

I don't get why people say these sorts of things.

There are people who whine about every single call a ref makes like it's another attack on their favorite team. But there have been some horrific, absolutely terrible calls in this series of late and they have been very, very big. The videos at the start of this thread is proof of that.
