Many fans and media members alike are intrigued with what Paul Johnson is doing at Georgia Tech. Steele is no different.
"I'm fascinated by that. I love watching the triple option offense and to see it actually in a BCS conference that is going to be a lot of fun," he added. "Paul Johnson did an incredible job at Navy. There is no doubt he can get this team to produce."
As for success in 2008, Steele expects the Yellow Jackets to be competitive. It may not be until 2009 or 2010 until the offense is clicking on all cylinders, however.
"They only have nine returning starters, they are learning a brand new offense. Those are questions that I have. But I think he gets them to a bowl game. A very tough schedule for Georgia Tech, but I'm a big Paul Johnson fan," Steele acknowledged. "I think it is usually a little bit of a learning process. I think it's going to take a year or two."
