Did anyone catch CCG and CJ interviews? It was interesting to hear the questioning for CCG. I am with CCG and the program, but he doesn't seem to want to address many issues that I am sure the fans want answers for. He commented on the GT-NCST game with the last play. I will try and quote him when he said" I don't think anyone on that field thought that we would try and pound the ball in, spike then kick. People wanted to go for the win." I STILL would have liked to run the football there, even with CJ in the mix. Water under the bridge. I am in support of this program, but I can smell the BS sometimes with CCG and his addressing to the public.

I do not flip-flop. I like what CCG is doing. I STILL think our run was what was killing them. Yes the pass would have worked, but WHY? Two yard line? Big ol' #45? Duh? If CJ caught the pass, this would not be on the boards. What shocked me is that CCG said it like one would be crazy to think they would have put the ball in PJ's hands. Even Reggie on a QB sneak. I am not necessarily arguing the call. Just how CG saw no other option.

By the way, I am not anti-Chan. You might want to save your Chan-smoochin' for the haters.

He might have said, "dang if the ST didn't almost cost us the game."

That, to me, is what lost the game. Not a dropped pass.

So if I ask a question I'm Chan-smoochin? Talk about sensitive, I simply asked you a question. Personally I would probably have called a run, but then I wouldn't have called the last TO either. But the definition of a good play is one that works. A bad one is one that doesn't. Nothing else really matters to most people. I was just curious about your take.

My bad. Like I said, if CJ had caught the pass, honestly, I wold not be discussing this at all. I was just dissapointed that CCG did not address some of the issues that this board has discussed all year long. Like the pass play in that game. 11 minutes until game time.

Should have lined up, ran off left tackle (PJ had several good runs in the second half). If you don't score then; a) call your last time out, b) spike the ball, then throw the pass. Or spike the ball first, then run. IMO the first down pass was the wrong call. Hey, I know CJ nearly caught the ball ...I wish he would have.

I don't disagree, but my point is that if CJ catches the ball all the stories would have been about what a great call it was. The result is what determines whether a call was good or not.
