Good link. I see no reason for us to expect a down season. The non-conference slate should have us no worse than 3-1 or 2-2. We ought to beat the Heels, Devils, Cavs, and I think, Canes in the division, and win over BC. I think we can win one of the games against FSU, VT, or Clemson. So, I think 8 or 9 wins is very reasonable.
I also think the first year or two with an option offense you have an advantage over those who have not played you before. I would say that in the 70's the wishbone preferred by Pepper was most successful in year's one and two. If memeory serves correct i think he went 6-5 (win over UGA), 7-4, 4-6-1, 6-5, 7-5 (Used the I with Mike Kelly), then 4-6-1.
The end of year 1 and most of year 2(before Sims, Myers, and Rucker got hurt) the offense was most potent.
