They also listed Calvin as the ACC Offensive Player of the Year...link was posted over on the hive.

Kyle Wright and Drew Weatherford are the preseason top two quarterbacks on this list? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugher.gif

When all is said and done....based on recent history who ever the quarterbacks are at VPI, Boston College, and Clemson....they will easily surpass the performances of Wright and Weatherford.

Weatherford has the worst offensive coordinator in the ACC giuding the Seminole offense in Jeff Bowden.

Miami's offense should be better with a new offensive coordinator and line coach but enough to elevate Wright to the top quarterback status in the ACC? I'll have to see it myself.

The ACC is severely lacking in the QB category, so it doesn't take much to be in the top 2.

I looked at that SEC preview on the newsstand and its pre-season ranking of us is # 40. Don't expect much love from them. Oh and BTW Notre Dame is The Sporting News' pick for pre-season # 1. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/puke.gif
