When does spring practice kick off, and will we have any frosh in school to participate?
 
Spring practice starts March 24 and the spring game is April 19. I believe the only new face will be Tyler Melton a WR out of Texas who greyshirted last year.

I have heard that the practices will be closed? How about the spring game? I would like to make it down there.
 
The Spring game will be open. Formerly, Saturday practices were open and held at BDS. I'm not sure if this will continue w/ the new staff.
Apparently, practices will be closed except to those with passes. I'm not sure how one would get a pass. I'm sure more insider info will be disclosed in the next month-ish leading up to the commencement of practice.

actually every practice was open last year in spring....

I heard the new staff would only have open practices on saturday/sunday and the spring game, and that others would require passes.

I talked to an AA staff member asking this so I could get a pass and I was told they hadn't heard that and I may have heard more up to date info than that person, but they would ask around. So right now I am not sure if the pass thing is rumor or not.

FYI, at Navy, PJ's practices were always open IIRC

Point is, as soon as I find out I will let folks know

PJ said all practices would not be opened until the entire offense was in...then it would not matter because everyone would already know what we do and they could even come to our practices and it would not help them any more than game film.
He expects 40% of the offense to be in by September.

I have a pass and can't wait to see the new team.
 
It will be interesting to see how our offense will do if we will only have 40% of the offense in by September. The option is hard for a quarterback to learn. Let's hope Josh learns it fast

I'm salivating to see this triple option stuff work.
