Has anyone heard any talk about us having an actual spring game this year? Chan always held the glorified practice to end the spring, and I know PJ had the Blue/Gold game at Navy. I think there would be a lot of excitement around it if PJ brought it back to Tech.
 
We are going to push for it hard. It's a great time to get the fans out. Would be a great marketing tool for season tickets and other perks.
 
Let's get CSS out there and televise the friggin' thing like UGAg, Clempsun, Bammer, Miami, and Tennessee. If CSS does like they did last year, they will televise the "games" throughout the summer.
 
I hope we get it back. One of the biggest boo-boos of the previous administration to not have it.
 
My dad always talked about the UGA/Tech freshman game and how much fun those were. Even though the days of that are long gone, something to get the fans involved is always great.
 
Looks like April 19 will be the date for our 'much anticipated' Spring game. D-Rad says to keep Friday, 4/18 open as well for other events.
 
I hope they have flag football on the 18th so I can kick some of y'alls arses for dumbarse posts.

pj is tha man and will have a spring game. Im sure there will be a bunch of people going to watch it. If im not mistaken it will take place in bds right?
 
They should sell tickets, have the concessions open, advertise, the total package. It should bee an annual event.

The scrimmage deal was totally misguided and counter productive. We want to generate enthusiasm. It's not just another scrimmage for the coach's sake.

This spring is a huge opportunity to connect the base and pull more in.

Sell seats, bring in past lettermen, do the whole pregame ordeal. Have celebrity coaches.

Let wes do the announcing, have the tv's there. This is our opportunity to kick it off right.
 
Yes we have to get fans pumped and ready for the season who knows the spring game may get more people to buy tickets
